THREE!!! I don’t know how that’s possible but here we are. I could write a novel about the ways Steven, Sammy and Amaya have filled our lives these past 3 years. I may never feel well rested again but it’s a small price to pay for the joy, privilege & adventure of being their mom.

Today I had the rare pleasure of dropping the kids off at school. Is it any surprise that Amaya refused to look for the photo? She already lives to torture me.

We had a brief meltdown over “three”. Earlier, at breakfast, she wouldn’t let me sing to her. At school, when I referenced her age she burst into tears and said, “I want to be two, not three.” So I guess this is her 2nd annual 2nd birthday.

Crowns from Miss Penny! And I hear that the whole school sang Happy Birthday to them during Shabbat. (Though Sammy says it was just the “Shabbat lady” who sang. I’m guessing the Shabbat lady is the center director, Shannon.)

After work we met up for a big birthday dinner! I was so excited to see SSA still in their crowns. Steven said they have to wear their crowns so they remember it’s their birthday. <3

Look who made it!!

And, finally, a little look at then and now. My loves. My lovies. My sweet, sweet little babies who aren’t so little anymore but who are forever my babies.

Quite the miracle. Happy 3rd birthday!
Thank you!!
